Complete Information About Gurez valley Trek
Gurez Valley Trek is one of the most untouched and mystical trails in the Kashmir Himalayas. Located in the far north near the Line of Control (LoC), Gurez is a land where time seems to have paused. Surrounded by the mighty Habba Khatoon Peak, river Kishanganga glides through wooden hamlets, centuries-old traditions, and warm Dardic (Shina-speaking) communities.
This trek offers an offbeat blend of alpine meadows, high-altitude lakes, pine forests, ancient shepherd routes, and surreal landscapes. Trekkers traverse hidden mountain passes, quaint villages like Dawar, Tulail, and Chakwali, and experience Kashmir’s true raw beauty, untouched by commercial tourism.
