- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included
- Activities: After warm up, take the Gondola ride to higher elevation. Try gentle slope runs near gondola terminus, with instructor assistance. Practice turning, controlling speed, side stepping. Introduce how to use chair lifts/gondola safely

Today, we officially begin our ascent towards the mighty Khardung La. The route takes us out of Leh and winds up into the mountains. The air gets thinner and the views more dramatic with every kilometer. You’ll ride through arid mountain valleys, cross local settlements, and pedal alongside dramatic ridgelines. Our support vehicle will provide regular hydration and snack breaks. We end the day at South Pullu, a military checkpoint and rest point just before the final climb. Dinner will be served at the campsite or a warm guesthouse
We ride slow and steady to allow proper adjustment to thinner air.
Day 4 More Slope Practice & Intermediate Skill Building
- Altitude: ~3,200-3,800 m (higher runs, steeper gentler slopes)
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included
- Activities: Morning warm-up then more runs—focus on turns, edge control, stopping, changing terrain. Possibly introduce small slope that’s a bit steeper. Continue using Gondola/Chair lifts to access different slopes. Build confidence in descent control
- Evening: Review day; optional photography or snow walk; rest early, prepare gear for final day
- Overnight Stay: Hotel / Lodge in Gulmarg
The final push! We start early to conquer the last stretch to Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The climb is steep and challenging but incredibly rewarding. You’ll pedal through rugged switchbacks and snow-lined roads (depending on the season), cheered on by the towering Himalayas. Upon reaching the summit, we’ll celebrate with tea, snacks, group photos, and a Khardung La cycling certificate!
After catching our breath and soaking in the views, we’ll ride all the way down to Leh — a thrilling descent that feels like flying. By evening, you’ll return to the hotel for a hot shower and a celebration dinner with the group
