Quick Itinerary

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Srinagar to Aru village, the starting point of the trek. The journey takes you through picturesque towns and the beautiful Pahalgam valley. Upon arrival at Aru, settle into your alpine campsite, meet your trek leader and fellow trekkers, and enjoy an evening walk to acclimate to the altitude

Today marks the beginning of your actual trek. Starting from Aru, you’ll follow a well-marked trail alongside the Lidder River. Expect breathtaking views of pine forests and meadows blooming with wildflowers. After crossing Dalla, you’ll reach the peaceful Lidderwat campsite nestled beside the river.
This day’s trek takes you deeper into the wilderness of Kashmir. The trail includes gradual ascents through lush green meadows, multiple stream crossings, and scenic wooden bridges. You’ll arrive at Shekwas, a serene camping area surrounded by mountains and offering early glimpses of the alpine world
Today’s trail climbs steadily as you leave the tree line behind and enter a world of open grasslands and rocky outcrops. After a final ascent along a scenic ridge, the magnificent Tarsar Lake unfolds before you—its turquoise waters flanked by snow-capped peaks. Camp by the lakeside under a star-studded sky
One of the most rewarding days of the trek! After a challenging but short climb to Tarsar Pass, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of alpine valleys below. The descent into the basin leads you through rocky terrain and lush meadows until you reach Sundarsar—a hidden gem of a lake nestled quietly amidst jagged ridges
An early start takes you to the elusive Marsar Lake viewpoint, often shrouded in mist and mystery. It’s a quiet, spiritual moment to soak in the raw, untouched beauty of Kashmir. After spending time at the top, you descend back past Sundarsar and down to Homwas for your final campsite

Your final trekking day is a pleasant downhill walk back to Aru, retracing your steps through the meadows and forest. After a warm farewell at basecamp, you’ll drive back to Srinagar with your heart full of memories and your camera loaded with beauty
