Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar – Transfer to Aru Base Camp
- Altitude: 7,950 ft (2,423 m)
- Distance: 105 km drive (4–5 hours) from Srinagar to Aru via Pahalgam
- Attractions: Lidder River, apple orchards, pine forests
- Accommodation: Alpine tents at Aru campsite
- Meals: Dinner included
- Rest & Preparation: Acclimatization walk in the evening, gear check, safety briefing
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Srinagar to Aru village, the starting point of the trek. The journey takes you through picturesque towns and the beautiful Pahalgam valley. Upon arrival at Aru, settle into your alpine campsite, meet your trek leader and fellow trekkers, and enjoy an evening walk to acclimate to the altitude
Day 2 Aru to Lidderwat Trek
- Altitude: 7,950 ft to 9,150 ft (2,790 m)
- Distance: 10 km trek (~6 hours)
- Trail: Gradual ascent through forests and open meadows
- Attractions: Dalla meadow, Lidder River, wildlife spotting
- Accommodation: Campsite at Lidderwat
- Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner
- Rest: Free time near river, evening tea session
Day 3 Lidderwat to Shekwas Trek
- Altitude: 9,150 ft to 11,000 ft (3,353 m)
- Distance: 7 km trek (~5 hours)
- Trail: Meadows, stream crossings, moderate climbs
- Attractions: Pine forests, wildflower trails, views of Kolahoi peaks

Day 4 Shekwas to Tarsar Lake Trek

- Attractions: Tarsar Lake, reflections of mountains on water, serene atmosphere

Day 5 Tarsar to Sundarsar via Tarsar Pass

- Trail: Steep ascent to pass, descent through snow patches and valleys
- Attractions: Panoramic view from Tarsar Pass, Sundarsar Lake

Day 6 Marsar Lake Excursion – Return to Homwas
- Altitude: Sundarsar (12,900 ft) to Marsar Viewpoint (~13,200 ft), then down to Homwas (11,150 ft)

- Trail: Early morning hike to Marsar viewpoint, return and descend to Homwas
- Attractions: Marsar Lake (view only), Kolahoi backdrop, alpine valleys
- Accommodation: Camp at Homwas

- Rest: Light activities, reflection session with guides
Day 7 Homwas to Aru – Drive Back to Srinagar
- Altitude: 11,150 ft to 7,950 ft, then back to ~5,200 ft (Srinagar)
- Distance: 10 km trek (~4–5 hours) + 105 km drive (~4 hours)
- Trail: Easy descent through meadows and forests
- Attractions: Final views of Lidderwat, farewell ceremony at Aru
- Accommodation: Not included (can be arranged in Srinagar)
- Meals: Breakfast and packed lunch
Your final trekking day is a pleasant downhill walk back to Aru, retracing your steps through the meadows and forest. After a warm farewell at basecamp, you’ll drive back to Srinagar with your heart full of memories and your camera loaded with beauty
